The House of Arras story is a testament to the dedication to time, patience and craftsmanship in exceptional sparkling winemaking. Founded in 1995, Chief Winemaker Ed Carr saw the potential of Tasmania as an extraordinary site to produce sparkling wine with its pristine cool climate, maritime influence and ancient soils.

 

Each vintage since, Carr has employed a meticulous approach to his craft including extended lees ageing which has become synonymous with the House of Arras style and benchmarked Australian sparkling to a new standard. This careful use of time ensures every bottle of House of Arras sparkling embodies a balance of elegance and complexity with a vibrancy experienced only in the world’s finest cuvées.

 

Celebrating 30 years in 2025, House of Arras encapsulates a rare union of nature and nurture where the luxury of time transforms every bottle into a profound wine experience.

This event is strictly for over 18 year olds and you may be asked for proof of age. We are happy to help you find your new favourite drink and we ensure we design our events responsibly, we ask that you also drink responsibly. Keep track of how many drinks you have tried and use the spittoon provided, especially if you are driving.

Terms & Conditions

As a condition of purchasing a ticket to any My Dan's event, you agree to comply with and be subject to the following terms and conditions.  

  1. You warrant that you, and any of your nominated guests, are 18 years or over and that you and your guests will not obtain or supply alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. We may require proof of age to verify your age or your guest's age.
  2. You agree to receive a post event email, which includes a request for feedback on the event, a list of the products experienced at the event and information on upcoming events. You can opt-out of this email and any further marketing communications relating to this event by emailing events@danmurphys.com.au.
  3. There will be no refunds for any tickets except as required by law and as otherwise specified by us and/or the vendor.
  4. We reserve the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute vendors and / or vary advertised programs, prices, venues and audience capacity.
  5. Tickets will only be valid for the date and time specified at time of purchase and are subject to availability.
  6. By attending a My Dan's event, members and their guests acknowledge that a photographer may be present at the relevant event and that the member or his or her guests (if any) may be photographed. Photographs taken at an event are the sole property of Dan Murphy's and its related bodies who have the right to use any such material for marketing purposes, in its reasonable discretion. Members and their guests acknowledge they will not be entitled to any monetary or other compensation for such use.
